What's the minimum age to enter?
You have to be 16 years old by 31st Dec 2018 to run in our event. Please also note that if you are 15, 16 or 17 years old by time of entering, you will need to get your parent or guardian to complete this for you: Parental Consent Form.
How does the referral entry option work?
It’s super easy and you and all your running buddies can save £5 each.
All you need to do is purchase a General Entry place (i.e. not a Charity Entry place) and you’ll receive a confirmation email that contains a referral link. Send this link on to your friends and once 4 of them enter using the link you will ALL qualify for a £5 rebate. Please note they MUST enter using your referral link.
This rebate will be processed the day after the event and may take 3-5 working days to land back in your bank account.

I've entered but can no longer take part. What are my options?
All General Entry runners entering the event more than 30 days prior to the event date may withdraw free-of-charge up to 7 days after payment. Notice of withdrawal from the event must be communicated during this period by email to firstname.lastname@example.org stating clearly the desire to withdraw and putting ‘Shoreditch 10k Withdrawal’ in subject line of the email.
Runners hoping to withdraw from the event after the 7 day “Cooling Off Period”, he/she will receive no refund and will not be able to transfer their entry to another person.
Charity runners must contact the charity they secured a place from directly with any withdrawal requests.
Can I change my details (such as the address my t-shirt and pack will be sent to)?
You can change your details up until 14th September. You can do this by logging into your account (using the details setup during registration) and edit your information here: https://myevents.active.com.
When will I receive my event pack and adidas race day t-shirt?
Packs will be sent out about 2 weeks before the event but can arrive as late as the day before.
If you do not receive a pack then you will need to come to the Event Village at Shoreditch Park on Saturday 13 October (the day before the event) between 11:30 – 17:30. Please remember to bring a photo ID and your confirmation email.
If you entered using an international address you will have to collect your pack and t-shirt on the day of the event.
What t-shirt size do I need / Can I change my t-shirt size?
If you have not received your t-shirt, you can change your t-shirt size anytime up to 30 days before the event date by emailing email@example.com with the subject line ‘Shoreditch 10K T-Shirt Size Change’.

If you have already received your t-shirt and it does not fit you may be able to swap it. Please come to the Event Village in Shoreditch Park on Saturday 13 October (the day before the event) between 11:30 – 17:30.
Please bring your current pack to swap (not just the t-shirt), as we will need to issue you a new timing chip that correlates to your new runner number that is printed on your new t-shirt.
I'm an international participant. When and where do I get my Event Pack from?

Event Day Information
Do I have to wear the free adidas t-shirt?
All runners must wear the free adidas race day t-shirt they receive in advance of the event. This will have your unique race number printed on it which will pair with your timing chip and also be used to identify you for your personal photos.
If you have secured a GOSH place you will be given a charity vest from GOSH to wear. You will receive a race number bib in your Event Pack and will be required to pin this on to make sure you get picked up by our photographers and receive your personal photos.

Do I have to collect a timing chip?
You will receive your timing chip along with your adidas race day t-shirt in the post in the lead up to the event. Remember to wear this on your shoe on race day so you can get an official time!
Will there be Pacers?
Yes. Our friendly pacers sourced through the adidas Runners community will be there on the day to help you achieve your target time.

What's the cut off time?
The last runner to cross the start line has 1 hour and 40 minutes to finish. Unfortunately we have to have a cut off time due to road closure limitations. Don’t fear, this leaves all of our runners plenty of time to finish – an average of 12 minutes/km or 19 minutes/mile to be exact!
Can I listen to music whilst running?
We strongly discourage the use of any equipment that acts as an impediment to hearing or concentration when running. This includes, but is not limited to, mobile telephones, personal stereos and MP3 players. Please note we cannot be responsible for accidents resulting from taking part with such equipment.
Will there be a bag drop?
Yes. We want you to be able to get some fresh clothes on before re-joining your family and friends to Unlock Shoreditch and make the most of the fantastic offers we’ve organised. Remember to keep your medal with you to access these great discounts.
Are you accepting participants taking part in a wheelchair?
Whist we are always looking for ways to make our events as inclusive as possible, we unfortunately are unable to accommodate wheelchair racers. We apologise for any disappointment this may cause.
Can I run with my child in a buggy?
Yes, however the child must remain in the buggy at all times and not run alongside the other runners. If you wish to run with your child in a buggy please complete this Parental Consent Form and bring it to Help Desk on Sunday morning ahead of the race start. Please note Help Desk will be open from 07:45.
Can I walk around the Event Village and Route?
Yes of course. Our Event Village is open to runners and spectators from 07:45 until 13:0 and will be full of entertainment and food and drink vendors for everyone to enjoy. There will be crossing points at various sections of the route too, where our Marshals will be on hand to point you to the nearest one.
What roads will be closed during the day of the event?
The list of the key affected roads and their closure times will be published in due course and an extensive business and residents communication plan will be implemented. Emergency Services and pedestrian access will be facilitated throughout, but there will be no vehicle or bicycle access on these roads during the closure period. Visit www.tfl.gov.uk to see if your public transport journey by bus is affected.
How can my business get involved in the Event?

Do you need volunteers?
If you don’t fancy taking part yourself then volunteering is a great way for you to experience an adidas City Run event.
